X-Lite Assistant

An assistant to configure both Asterisk and the X-Lite softphone to be used together when both are running on the same Macintosh computer, where X-Lite uses Asterisk as a SIP/IAX gateway, thereby avoiding NAT traversal issues with SIP. This assistant is a new Objective-C based development. It is the basis for a new Objective-C based project template for Xcode from which Cocoa developers can derive new assistants. Using this approach, turnaround times for developing new assistants will be significantly shortened.

Voicepulse Connect Assistant

An assistant to configure Asterisk for the US based Voicepulse Connect VoIP service. Voicepulse provide inbound and outbound VoIP service in the United States. This assistant is being migrated to Objective-C. The earlier AppleScript Studio (alpha) version is no longer available.

Macintalk Assistant

An assistant to configure Asterisk to use MacOS X's built-in Macintalk text-to-speech engine for user and caller guidance (aka IVR or Auto-attendant). New Objective-C based development (work in progress).

Sipura-3000 Assistant

An assistant to configure Asterisk to use the Sipura-3000 VoIP adapter as a one-line PSTN gateway. Will be migrated to the new Objective-C based assistant template.

Note: All Asterisk Assistants are released as open source software under the GPL license version 2 with the exception of the Sipura-3000 Assistant which will be payware at 49 USD due to a total lack of assistance and hostile attitude from the manufacturer.
